Sammy Hagar Wants Respect From Vince Neil

Throughout the mid-80s and early-90s, Van Halen and Motley Crue ruled the album and singles charts. Songs like “Dr. Feelgood,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Why Can’t This Be Love,” and “When It’s Love” were mainstays on the radio.

So you would think that some of the members of these bands would be the best of friends. Well, not in the case of Sammy Hagar and Vince Neil.

However, there isn’t a spat over who’s the better vocalist, rather it’s over tequila.

Furthur Cancels Festival Appearance After Weir’s On-Stage Collapse, Still Scheduled For All-Good Music Festival

As previously reported, Bob Weir, guitarist/singer for the Grateful Dead, collapsed on stage during a Furthur concert last Thursday night (April 25th) at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.

Furthur, which also features John Kadlecik (formerly of Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra)and the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh, was playing the ninth and final show of their residency at the Capitol when Weir collapsed during the performance of “Unbroken Chain.” Read More…
